Child Safety & Minor Protection Standards

Sparkify.social is a professional collaboration platform designed for every (content creators, influencers, brands, and businesses). We take child safety extremely seriously and comply with Standard Community Policies, international standards, and local laws to ensure that minors are protected.

This Child Safety Standard explains how Sparkify handles user age requirements, content restrictions, reporting, and enforcement to keep the platform safe.

1. Minimum Age Requirement

To ensure a safe and professional environment:

• Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Sparkify.social.
• We do not allow accounts created by children or minors.
• We do not allow content featuring minors in unsafe or inappropriate ways.
• We do not allow brands hiring or interacting with minors through the platform.

If we discover any underage user, the account will be immediately suspended and removed.

2. Identity & Age Verification

• We may request ID verification to confirm a user’s age.
• We may suspend accounts that appear to be created by minors or contain misleading identity data.
• Users who refuse to verify age may have their accounts restricted.

3. Protection of Minors in Content

Even though minors cannot register, users may still feature children in their content (e.g., family vlogs, parenting content).

The following are NOT allowed:

• ❌ Any sexual, suggestive, or exploitative content involving minors
• ❌ Content that endangers the physical or emotional well-being of a minor
• ❌ Content showing minors in unsafe, adult, violent, or harmful situations
• ❌ Content that encourages minors to participate in dangerous activities
• ❌ Images of minors designed to attract adult attention

The following are allowed (with strict limitations):

• Content where minors appear in normal, everyday activities (family content, events)
• Content where minors are in safe, supervised environments
• Content that follows local child protection laws and platform guidelines

4. Zero Tolerance for Sexual Content Involving Minors

Sparkify strictly prohibits child sexual abuse material or exploitation. Violations result in immediate permanent account ban, reporting to law enforcement, and IP/device blocking.

5. Communication & Messaging Safety

Sparkify’s messaging system must be used responsibly. Attempting to contact minors or discussing inappropriate topics that involve children is strictly prohibited.

6. No Targeting Minors for Marketing

Sparkify does not target children with advertising, collect personal data from minors, or allow collaborations involving minors.

7. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

We encourage all users to report content or behaviour that may put a child at risk. Reports are confidential and reviewed immediately.

8. Enforcement & Monitoring

We use automated systems and manual reviews to detect harmful content. Severe violations result in permanent bans.

9. Third-Party Links & Ads

Sparkify does not host ads or links designed for children. All external content must adhere to these standards.

10. Updates & Compliance

Sparkify may update this standard at any time to remain compliant with international child protection laws and Google Play policies.
